Royal Ontario Museum
Client: Royal Ontario Museum
Project description
The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is one of North America’s largest museums, offering an extraordinary experience in science and civilization. The Michael Lee-Chin Crystal expansion introduced a striking angular addition along Bloor Street, complemented by extensive renovations to the existing space. The 174,000 sq. ft. new construction provides a modern aesthetic while preserving the heritage characteristics of the original structure, enhancing the building envelope performance for improved climate control in the interior spaces.
