Yonge Sheppard Centre

Project description

The Yonge Sheppard Centre, originally built in 1976, is undergoing a significant transformation to enhance North York’s City Centre. The redevelopment includes a comprehensive mall renovation, a new 36-storey residential tower, and a mid-rise rental building. The ground level features a revitalized retail design, and existing mechanical systems for parking and retail have been upgraded to accommodate the new layout. The project successfully maintains access to two subway lines throughout construction, ensuring continued connectivity.

Adds a 36-storey residential tower and mid-rise rental building, enhancing housing availability in North York.
Revitalizes 305,000 sq. ft. of retail space, attracting more visitors and boosting local commerce.
Upgrades mechanical systems to improve efficiency and support the expanded facilities without disrupting transit access.
