Waterfront Innovation Centre

Client: Menkes Developments Ltd.

Project description

The Waterfront Innovation Centre, spanning 450,000 sq. ft. and achieving LEED® Platinum certification, comprises three buildings: The Exchange, The Nexus, and The Hive. Built on repurposed industrial land beside Sugar Beach in the East Bayfront community, this development fosters innovation and technology, accommodating over 2,000 employees. With ultra high-speed broadband and collaborative workspaces, the Centre enhances the live-work-play experience while incorporating efficient mechanical systems and promoting water conservation through stormwater and groundwater use.

Supports over 2,000 employees, bolstering economic development in the East Bayfront community.
Achieves LEED® Platinum certification, demonstrating commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
Incorporates advanced mechanical systems, enhancing indoor air quality and reducing reliance on municipal water through innovative conservation practices.
