The Tour Deloitte
Client: Cadillac Fairview
Project description
The Tour Deloitte is a 26-storey office tower offering a wide range of services. It is designed to be a versatile, modern space with a technical basement, three floors of parking and commercial and office space distributed across several levels. Its glass and aluminum design creates a contemporary style, while elements such as the glass, metal and polished stone lobby add a touch of elegance. The presence of a landscaped courtyard with a water basin in summer, an ice rink in winter, and a terrace restaurant and rooms for corporate events make the Tour Deloitte a dynamic and welcoming workspace.

Characteristics and Impacts
The Tour Deloitte stands out for its advanced technical features that reduce energy costs by 40% compared with conventional towers, in addition to its sustainability credentials. A 1,800-ton cooling plant, an 18,000 MBH heating plant and heat recovery systems contribute to this energy efficiency. High-efficiency plumbing fixtures, a rainwater harvesting basin and a grey water distribution system minimize water consumption. Finally, the tower integrates an efficient lighting system, adjustable according to outside light levels and an 8,000 kVA Hydro-Québec-supplied electrical service entrance, promoting optimized energy use.
The Tour Deloitte is a landmark project in sustainable design in Canada and the first office building in Montreal to receive LEED Platinum certification.
