Project description

The Ismaili Centre and Aga Khan Museum share a 6.8-hectare site, enhancing the cultural landscape. The Ismaili Centre is a 90,000-sq. ft. two-story facility featuring a unique domed glass roof, housing a place of worship, library, social hall, meeting rooms, and administrative offices. It employs a state-of-the-art displacement ventilation system for efficient climate control. Adjacent to the Centre, the Aga Khan Museum spans 110,000 sq. ft. and includes exhibition galleries, a 350-seat theatre, workshops, a restaurant, and open courtyards.
