BPA officially commits to the SE 2050 Challenge

Our BPA structural team is proud to announce that we have formally joined the Structural Engineering Institute’s (SEI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) SE 2050 Committing to net zero. With this commitment, we undertake to actively transform our structural engineering practices to help reduce embodied carbon in our projects and contribute to reaching a goal of net zero carbon by 2050.

By measuring, reducing and optimizing the carbon footprint of our structural systems, our more than 125 experts across Canada dedicated to structural projects will make a tangible contribution to more sustainable, innovative and forward-looking engineering.

This commitment is fully in line with BPA’s mission to build a sustainable future and drive engineering forward in a responsible, rigorous and data-driven way.

We are proud to take part in this challenge, which reflects the passion and determination of all of our teams to create a positive impact, today and for future generations.
