Project description
This large-scale industrial project involved two major expansions: the addition of a 7,200-square-metre high-power laboratory, including a 40-metre-high test tower and a facility housing high-power and high-voltage electrical equipment, as well as the development of a new production area comprising 14,500 square metres of floor space across five buildings.

Characteristics and Impacts
- Renovation and seismic retrofitting of an existing section, including raising the roof and installing new bridge cranes.
- A long-span, high-rise steel frame structure, including support structures for 20 bridge cranes, one of which has a capacity of 360 metric tons.
- The project was complex and fast-paced, carried out using an integrated, collaborative approach from the design phase onward.
