We are delighted to announce that we have joined the Vélosympathique movement, which aligns with our commitment to decarbonization and our core values and mission.
The movement encourages communities and organizations to adopt cycling as a viable option for transportation and leisure. Through its personalized academy program and rigorous certification process, it provides tools and support to those working to promote cycling.
BPA is proud to have received the Vélosympathique certification for three of its offices from Vélo Québec.
BPA – Longueuil: Silver
BPA – Montreal: Silver
BPA – Laval: Bronze
This recognition highlights our commitment to fostering a bicycle-friendly culture in our workplace and promoting active mobility.
“These certifications reflect a commitment that is near and dear to my heart: to see BPA support more sustainable commuting methods and genuinely encourage a cycling culture within our teams. When we choose to cycle for our transportation needs—both to and from the office and in our daily lives—we help reduce our carbon footprint while staying active and healthy. A big thank you to our colleagues who share this vision and are pedalling in the same direction!” – Nathalie Boulet, P.Eng., Director, Sustainability
The Vélosympathique initiative is funded by the Government of Québec through Action-Climat Québec, a program coordinated by the Fonds d’action québécois pour le développement durable and drawn from the 2030 Plan for a Green Economy.
