Project description
Analysis of needs and work to be carried out concerning process water, drinking water and fire protection services and their implementation in part of the Valcartier Experimental Complex.

Characteristics and Impacts
- Installation of a pumping station and power supply for variable-delivery pumps with level alarms.
- Replacement of underground infrastructures (sanitary sewers, storm sewers and aqueducts).
- Replacement of cast-iron inlets with PVC and copper inlets.
- Trenching and unidirectional drilling for rehabilitation of water supply, sewer, grounding and surge protection systems.
- Leak and pressure tests, then production of installation compliance reports.
- Dismantling of former facilities buried on the site, resulting in the need to manage contaminated soil.
- Excavation work in the presence of unexploded ordnance (UXO).
