Project description

Analysis of needs and work to be carried out concerning process water, drinking water and fire protection services and their implementation in part of the Valcartier Experimental Complex.

  • Installation of a pumping station and power supply for variable-delivery pumps with level alarms.
  • Replacement of underground infrastructures (sanitary sewers, storm sewers and aqueducts).
  • Replacement of cast-iron inlets with PVC and copper inlets.
  • Trenching and unidirectional drilling for rehabilitation of water supply, sewer, grounding and surge protection systems.
  • Leak and pressure tests, then production of installation compliance reports.
  • Dismantling of former facilities buried on the site, resulting in the need to manage contaminated soil.
  • Excavation work in the presence of unexploded ordnance (UXO).
