Spanning 7.5 acres, The Well is a vibrant mixed-use hub in Toronto’s west downtown. Anchored by an 834,200-sq. ft., 36-storey office tower, it features six other buildings blending office and retail spaces. Overcoming challenges, we integrated ventilation discreetly into the below-grade parking, maintaining a seamless pedestrian experience and maximizing leasable space.

Characteristics and Impacts
- The commercial section of the property will be connected to Enwave for both heating and cooling water, and we are employing a thermally stratified thermal storage system underneath the site.
- Other mechanical components include air-side heat recovery, rainwater harvesting, and re-use along with low-flow fixtures.
- The office space is utilizing low velocity underfloor air distribution systems and instantaneous domestic hot water heaters.
