New Data Center

Client: Confidential Client

Project presentation

This new server room, comprising 288 server cabinets, 45 “H-frames” and 8 “BixFrames”, of Tier III design in line with the Uptime Institute, houses various types of IT equipment and network cabling (copper and fiber optics).

The cabinets are divided into several aisles with hot air confinements for optimum air distribution in the room.

Generators, PDUs and shielded busbars provide a redundant power supply to each server cabinet. Cable trays are provided for routing copper cabling, and slides for routing fiber-optic cables are also installed. A safety cage has also been installed in the room to protect the most critical equipment. In addition to access controls at the venue’s entrances, some 70 surveillance cameras are installed throughout the venue to ensure security.
