The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, is a world-renowned luxury resort celebrated for its breathtaking location. Known for its rich history, the Chateau has welcomed guests since the late 19th century, providing exceptional accommodations, fine dining, and access to year-round outdoor activities.

Characteristics and Impacts
As part of capital upgrades at the hotel, our team worked with the client to provide a new cooling condenser loop for the hotel facility in order to add air conditioning to all rooms of the hotel. The cooling plant features a closed loop fluid cooler and free cooling heat exchanger to leverage cold lake temperatures and domestic water intake as a primary means of cooling the facility. A new water cooled VRF system was added to the guestrooms to further leverage heat recovery and provide a low carbon heating and cooling source for the facility.
