Project description
This 200,000-sq. ft. project revitalized the heritage landmark at One Spadina Crescent by restoring the historic building and adding a modern facility in the courtyard. It features lecture theatres, design studios, labs, and offices while promoting sustainable design.

Characteristics and Impacts
- Key mechanical engineering aspects include integrating services into the century-old structure, radiant slab heating and cooling, and displacement ventilation to enhance energy efficiency. The building targeted a LEED® Gold equivalent.
