Carleton Place District Memorial Hospital

Client: Carleton Place District Memorial Hospital (CPDMH)

Project description

The CPDMH Redevelopment Project was undertaken to counter its significant infrastructure challenges needed to continue to serve local communities. The projects entailed HVAC system upgrades to the surgical suites, fit-up of the Sterilization Department, construction of a new Emergency Department (685 m2) as an addition to the hospital, replacement of the emergency generator, upgrades to the power distribution, upgrades to the fire sprinkler system, and many more.

All worked was carefully planned and carried out in a fully functioning hospital.
The updates provide much needed space for IT infrastructure, storage, separate waiting rooms and patient privacy. They also improve accessibility and make key spaces more functional for users and staff.
