Your role

The main role of the successful candidate will be to ensure that the projects attributed to him or her are completed in accordance with the contract documents and according to the roles of each stakeholder.

Tasks:

• Supervise work prepare surveillance reports
• Determine the cost of the work in accordance with standardized methods and the plans and spécifications
• Contribute to solving technical problems
• Provide information on the interpretation of plans and specifications so that the contractor performs the work requested
• Monitor work progression according to plans and specifications
• Keep track of deadlines and attend field meetings
• Prepare recommendations and a list of deficiencies for the work completed
• Validate shop drawings
• Draft meeting minutes

Your profile

• More than 10 years of experience in the construction industry, or three years as a site supervisor mainly for mechanical and/or electrical building systems
• Flexible, independent and good communicator
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in a similar position in an engineering firm is an important asset
• Holds an ASP Construction Card
• Has a valid driver’s license
• Bilingual
• Ability to write reports and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
