Job description

Permanent and full-time, in Ottawa or Gatineau

Your Role

• Develop technical designs and coordinate various mechanical engineering projects
• Work in close collaboration with senior engineers and technicians to develop solutions tailored to client needs, as well as building systems for various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential)
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs
• Conduct surveys of existing installations
• Analyze, design and adapt related mechanical building systems
• Conducts various assessments: building condition, preliminary evaluations, energy efficiency, etc.
• Evaluate mechanical construction costs
• Write specifications and technical reports
• Provide support to the site surveillance

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Active member of Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or Professional Engineers Ontario
• Proficient in English and French, both spoken and written,
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, an asset
• Flexible, independent and skilled communicator
