Are you a skilled and ambitious Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record in the building HVAC market? Do you excel in leadership roles and aspire to make a significant impact within a growing company? We are seeking a dedicated Professional Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Project Manager. This role not only involves overseeing projects but also includes market development, mentoring, and client relations, with a clear path to advancement.

Position Overview: As a Mechanical Engineering Project Manager, you will be an integral part of our growth strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Management: Leading HVAC projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality benchmarks.
• Market Development: Identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the expansion of our market presence.
• Mentoring: Guiding and supporting junior engineers and technologists, fostering a collaborative team environment that promotes skill development.
• Client Relations: Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and member of APEGA
• Substantial hands-on experience as a design engineer in the building HVAC sector in Canada with a minimum of 5 years as a professional engineer.
• Strong project management abilities, including multitasking and efficient project oversight.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Leadership qualities and a genuine interest in mentoring and developing team members.
• Background in the building trades would be advantageous.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written
