In January, at a gala in Las Vegas, the Stinson Transportation Centre won First Place in the New Industrial Buildings or Processes category, an award given out by ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineering), an international organization. This prestigious award recognizes excellence in the design and operation of energy efficient buildings. In fact, the efforts made in this regard earned the building a LEED-Gold certification, making it the only building of its kind to have such certification in Quebec!
